Seeing who shared your Instagram post is one of the most useful things about this social media platform. It not only lets you see who has commented on your posts, it also gives you a general idea of the popularity and reach of your latest creation. The social network has rolled out several updates to its feature set, allowing you to better track your content across all of your channels.

As with any social media, the number of people who have seen your post can vary. However, Instagram is not one to be stingy with its statistics, and has recently rolled out a new feature which allows you to view the number of times your post has been viewed by other users. While this might not sound like a lot, it can be an important metric for your business.

There are a few ways to view this information. You can go to your profile page and check out the post count or you can open up the app on your mobile device. If you don’t want to open the app, you can simply send a direct message to the person you’d like to share your post with. Once you have access to the app, scroll down to the post you’d like to review and click on the share button at the bottom.

Another method is to check out the “view reshares” section of your profile page. The feature is hidden from most users but you can find it if you know where to look. After you’ve opened the app, you’ll see a list of all the accounts you follow which has shared a post. Click on the name of the account you’d like to see and you’ll be redirected to the story of the same account.

While you’re there, you might as well take a look at your profile’s “about me” section and see what type of posts are most popular with your followers. This will give you a better idea of the types of posts that your audience has responded to, and help you improve your own content.

Finally, if you’re interested in seeing who has liked your post, you can tap on the small profile picture to see a list of the followers you’re connected with. Just make sure to have permission to view these photos in the first place.

For more in-depth information on your own posts, you can upgrade to a creator or business account. In the process, you’ll also be able to access the aforementioned View Insights feature. Using this feature, you’ll be able to review the most important metrics about your content, including the number of times your content has been viewed, saved or shared, and a more comprehensive analysis of your engagement metrics.

While this is not a complete list of all of the features and capabilities that Instagram has to offer, it should provide you with a good starting point. From there, you can start using the social network’s tools to maximize your success.
